What Builder Matchmaker Provides
Builder Matchmaker provides project-preparation tools, educational resources, professional discovery and introductions. Our role is to help consumers organize their projects and understand readiness before engaging the appropriate professionals.
Not a Substitute for Licensed Professionals
Builder Matchmaker does not replace licensed or specialized professionals involved in financing, real estate, construction, architecture, engineering, surveying, inspection, legal, tax or other professional services. Consumers should engage qualified, appropriately licensed professionals for those services.
Independent Professionals
Professionals participating in the Builder Matchmaker Network operate independently unless explicitly stated otherwise. Builder Matchmaker may facilitate introductions but does not automatically become party to agreements between consumers and independent professionals, and does not control construction work performed by independent contractors.
Your Due Diligence
Consumers and professionals remain responsible for evaluating project fit, credentials, licensing, insurance, contracts, pricing and other due diligence. Participation in the Builder Matchmaker Network does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of professional performance.
Readiness Is Not a Guarantee
Project readiness, Match Ready status or completion of a Passport does not guarantee financing approval, builder or contractor acceptance, project feasibility, permitting, pricing, construction schedule or project completion.
Financing
Builder Matchmaker itself does not approve financing. Financing decisions are made by the applicable lender, and programs and requirements may vary. Consumers may use their own financing professional; Builder Matchmaker may connect consumers with financing professionals where appropriate.
